The zine will be based on my animation piece, “Calling…” (2021), with some tweaks to the visuals.

I decided I didn’t like these visual because they were too simple and I want this comic to stand out, so I reworked it and came up with this:

For the first page, I wanted to incorporate the guitar playing, but felt it didn't fit with the other pages in the story.

The Dream Zine Project 2022
After my exhibition in November 2021, I decided I wanted to start something different from the work I was already doing, and started drawing illustrations on my iPad more often. This gave me the idea to make a comic book, as that was something I’ve always wanted to do, but never had any ideas for one.
My concept for this comic book is simple: use screenshot from my animations and turn them into illustrations to tell a story.
